Josh's ePortfolio

Hello everyone. Welcome to my ePortfolio, in which I display some of the fun and creative things i've been doing at SLCC. I am enjoying my time here and I love the idea of the eportifolio to be able to showcase my skills and creativity of my work for you. 

As you can see from the navigation bar above, I have a page for my goals, a page for my General Education courses and what I have learned in them, a page about things that I have learned outside the classroom, and a page for my resume.      This is one of my favorite landscapes, that I designed about four years ago.

About Me. 

 I am a very dedicated young person. I am only 23 but I have been through so much in my life, I feel like i'm forty. I was a landscape designer for 4 years up until 2010 until I fractured a piece of my spine working. That's when I decided that I needed to change careers. So I went into Culinary Arts. It comes natural to me because my father is a Chef and I grew up in the kitchen. I am a very creative person and I  love to try new things and get my hands dirty.

Favorite Movies: I couldn't tell you my favorite movie, I have too many. I love action, comedy, thrillers, mysteries, and some horrors and romance, but not very many.

Favorite Books: I love fiction, non-fiction, and anything on history. My absoulte favorite book though would have to be Swan Song.

Career Plans: After I finish school I plan on going to work for Hawthorn Retirement. I really love working with the community. Eventually though I would like to start a restaurant with my father.

Hobbies: snowboarding, reading, watching movies, hanging out with family and friends, wood working, and trying new things.
